Day 1 of "vacation"

Day one of our "vacation" took us to Lancaster PA. Rather than driving through Connecticut and across the George Washington Bridge (already made that mistake once, though we would make it again... more on that later), we went north which ended up being a good choice.

On the way down through Pennsylvania just when we needed a break we found and stopped at Dingman Falls. This ended up being one of the highlights of our whole trip.

Spring time

The kids and I along with our friends (Sylvia (mom), Avery and Ella)went to Rockport on Friday. Braeden and Emery love their friends. We played at the beach and had lunch. Braeden's favorite part was looking for shells and sea glass. Emery liked splashing in the water. I think Avery and Ella's enjoyed playing with the dogs that were there with their owners.

This is one of our favorite beaches. The Bearskin Neck area is full of fun shops and fun to walk around.

Happy b-day B!

We took Braeden & friends to Stone Zoo to celebrate his 5th birthday. His favorite animal was the gecko that they got to pet.

Fastest animal on earth

We saw the fastest animal on earth while out on a walk Sunday.

I'm 99% sure this is a Peregrine Falcon.

"Oberta Bunny"

This video cracks me up. Carissa earlier had gotten after Emery a little bit for scraping the car (it's a rental after all) with the ice scraper. When Carissa asks her what she is doing, "Just scrapp......", at which point she immedietly puts on the brakes. "Noooo... not scraping", she says.
